How to remove hair dye from clothes
White vinegar recipe
Mix enough white vinegar with a cup of lukewarm water to get a homogeneous solution, then spray it directly on the stain, and wipe it constantly until the stain disappears, noting that this recipe can be used for all types of clothes.
Alcohol recipe
Sprinkle an adequate amount of alcohol on the stain, then patting it by using a clean white cloth, then rubbing it well until the stain is removed permanently, noting that it is possible to add a little hydrogen peroxide to the alcohol if the clothes are made of synthetic cloth, Dipping a cotton swab in it and rubbing the stain with it, but if the clothes are made of cotton or wool, an adequate amount of turpentine is added to the alcohol, and the cotton piece is dipped in it and rub the stain with it.
Liquid dish soap
Soak the clothes in a mixture prepared from a little liquid dish soap, a drop of ammonia, and a sufficient amount of water, leave it for a period of time, then wash it in the usual way, and it is recommended to use this recipe for cotton clothes.
Lemonade recipe
Mix the juice of a lemon with a little cream of tartar to get a homogeneous mixture, then dip a toothbrush in it, rub the stain gently and in a straight direction and not in a circular motion, then rub it with liquid washing soap, wash it, and dry it.
Tips for removing hair dye from clothes
- Rub the visible stains as soon as they fall on the clothes, and avoid leaving them until they dry, and use cold water during rubbing as it penetrates into them and helps to get rid of them.
- Quickly wipe off the dye, so that it can be easily removed afterwards.
- Sprinkle an amount of spray on the stain, leave it for ten minutes until you drink it, then wash it in the usual way, and make sure that the stain is gone before drying the piece.
- Wearing cotton clothes while dyeing your hair.
- Wearing white clothes, and avoiding colored clothes, so that the degree of color is not affected by the dye.
- Choose the type of clothes that can be washed with washing powder and water, and not equipped for dry washing only.
